The examination for Indian Police Service (IPS) comes under Indian Civil Service examinations. The paper includes questions that check the literary skills of a person in English. There are a total of two papers that a candidate has to appear. Both papers are given equal importance. Each paper is for 200 marks. The first paper checks the candidate’s general awareness. The second paper tests the candidate’s skills in the field of both analytical and logical reasoning.
