*What is IPS Exam?
IPS Exam stands for Indian Police Service [IPS]. The exam is conducted by Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) to select candidates for the All India Services and for the services coming under the Group A and Group B of the Central Government.
IPS Exam 2013 Paper Pattern :-
The UPSC examination comprises of two successive stages.
The Preliminary Examination:
* Preliminary Exam comprises multiple choice questions and is also a qualifying exam for appearing into second exam.
* The Main Examination:
Main Examination which comprises a written exam and an interview.
* And followed by an Interview.
